Meet “Ari”
Ari is the newest addition to the breeding herd that frequents our lodge. He/she (not sure yet) was born at the beginning of August 2025, this video was taken about 2 months later. It goes without saying that we are completely besotted with this little thing already!! Cannot wait to watch this baby grow.

The view of a lifetime
The view silences some visitors. Words are not always enough. The Kingfisher Lodge is located on a beautiful stretch of the Zambezi, rich in wildlife and with great fishing.
The Perfect Spot
Either at dawn when you start the day, dusk after a hard day fishing, or after dark by the fire, the Zambezi river is totally captivating. The name alone inspires many lifetimes of stories and now can relax in comfort at the Kingfisher Lodge, and create your own.
An Audience to remember!
They say an elephant never forgets, and they do have uncanny memories, this one has come to see if I’ve got that fiver he lent me 12 years ago. But it is unlikely that you will ever forget a visit to Zambezi Kingfisher lodge. Apart from the river game fishing and the location on the river bank, the audience may sometimes astound you too. And when you aren’t fishing you can experience it first hand by going on accompanied trips into the bush.
