This GORGEOUS Shikra sat right by our deck for the better part of an hour, while I happily clicked away at it. Definately displaying it's good side for the camera.
You don't get to take photos like this every day - This pair of [bird type] were fishing as well today and the female here snatched a snack from right beside us before making off.
Either at dawn when you start the day, dusk after a hard day fishing, or after dark by the fire, the Zambezi river is totally captivating. The name alone inspires many lifetimes of stories and now can relax in comfort at the Kingfisher Lodge, and create your own.
